Now please don’t hold it against me but in a former life I was an actor, yes it’s true. So if I look vaguely familiar but you can’t place me it is probably because I was that nice nurse or Mum or even Nun in something you have seen on the telly.

However, switching to the other side of the camera became more and more appealing……and so ARC Films was born! What started as a very small operation working alone from home has grown into the thriving hub of activity that is now ARC.

The thing I love most about my job is the incredibly diverse client base we have. From online video profiles for major financial institutions through to animated TVCs to scripted drama used as a specialist training tool, everyone is unique and I must say, I do love a challenge!

It doesn’t matter how much a client knows or doesn’t know, I will happily hold their hand (or not) throughout the process and make sure their experience with ARC is a pleasant and productive one.

Abi and I met as young actors many years ago but I didn’t immediately pursue a creative path….. practical reasons sent me off in the direction of a career in the business world.

Experiencing various operational management roles, I found myself enjoying the time I spent at The Body Shop. It was here I really found the talent and drive to help a business develop its greatest asset, its people…..happy, confident people equals a healthy growing bottom line.

Studying, in the Learning and Development field continued to add to the skill set I have today and with experience as a senior HR practitioner with several large Australasian Retail companies, I certainly began to understand the challenges companies face in caring and developing their people whilst delivering results.

It is this combination of experience, skill and my natural ability to really connect with people, which allows me to deliver ongoing benefits to our clients at ARC.
